RATES: Extended Hands rates are very fair and competitive but vary
depending upon the level of care required by the resident. Higher
levels of care include individuals who are incontinent or wheelchair
bound and require transfer assistance, or individuals who wander and do
not sleep at night.
Extended Hands has a fully enclosed yard for the safety of our
residents who wander and inside there is an alarm system which is on 24
hours a day, fire sprinklers throughout, and central heating and air
conditioning. It is a four-bedroom home where residents can enjoy
themselves in an intimate family-type setting. Extended Hands
caregivers are trained to care for individuals with early to late stage
Alzheimer's and receive annual training on new methods for caring for
individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia. |
